"Rise of Nightmares" Let's Play

Halloween is getting closer and closer so I keep looking up horror games and that inevitably takes me to Let's Play videos - because I'm a big pansy and can't play horror games by myself without hiding under the sofa. This game is one I do own though because it featured a unique use of the Kinect that I wanted to try out.

"Rise of Nightmares" was a really fun game. Tedious in some places, but a great workout and with a fun story. It also had a few great jump scares throughout.

Without further ado, here's the Let's Play by Silas Darko.

'One Late Night' Indie Let's Play

"One Late Night" is actually kind of a fun little independent game, which you can get for free from Desura.com.

Or you can have a whole lot more fun, and more laughs, watching MisterFantasmo play it below.

"Ju-On: The Grudge" Let's Play full

I wanted to get some stuff set up in preparation for Halloween, because, for some weird reason, that's on my mind right now. So while I'm actually in a horror video game mood, here's one of my favorite Let's Plays for goofy, scary fun.

These two really take the edge off the fact that this is a scary game with their humor and dramatics, while, at the same time, their own fear can ramps yours up a bit ass well. It was just an all-around good time. And while this game's not all that great, this is one of those Let's Plays you can sit around with  your friends and laugh about before going to try it yourself.

Gameplay from The Last of Us at E3 2013

I remember this game first being announced and thinking it looked kind of interesting. But then it just fell off my radar. It popped back up a few days ago when I was browsing through soon-to-be-released games, but I didn't give it much thought.

Then I saw this at E3 and I was blown away. Oh, how I wish I had bought a Playstation 3 instead of an Xbox 360 now. Ellie just stole my heart.

If you're a lucky duck that has a Playstation 3 already, or the cash to burn to get one for this awesome looking game, there's still time to pre-order and get the bonuses.

Witcher 3 trailer from E3 2013

This is the game I'm most looking forward to. I loved "Witcher 2". I mean, there's no way for me to actually say how much I fell in love with "Witcher 2" especially since I played it shortly after "Mass Effect 3" and it seemed to just clean the bad taste out of my mouth. So when I saw this trailer, I just couldn't stop jumping up and down excitedly.
