Is 'No Man's Sky' overhyped?

No Man's Sky” is a single player exploration game set in space. It's been touted as having 18 quintillion planets that can all be named by the players and a variety of minerals, plants and animals to discover.

It's been receiving hype for almost 2 years and now that's it's released on PS4 it's hard to find a Youtuber or Twitch streamer who isn't playing “No Man's Sky” at least a little bit (or being begged to play it).

But was it overhyped?

The Order 1886 trailer from E3 2013

E3 2013 introduced a new IP, exclusive to the Playstation 4, called "The Order 1886". It looks like a steam punk-inspired horror survival game. And I have to say it looks pretty darn impressive from this trailer.

Playstation 4 takes a shot at the Xbox One used game feature

At E3 2013, Sony took many jabs at Xbox One's features, such as checking in every 24 hours in order to keep the system working and not allowing games to be traded, sold or loaned to friends once they have been placed on one system.

My personal favorite jab was in the form of a Youtube video titled: Official Playstation Used Game Instructional Video
